Paris-based SILKROAD PRODUCTION was founded by Setareh Farsi and Behrooz Hashemian in 2000. Recent credits include co-production on Rashid Masharawi’s 2002 feature, TICKET TO JERUSALEM and Teona S. Mitevska’s 2004 feature, HOW I KILLED A SAINT. Currently in post-production are Turkish director Yesim Ustaogulu’s WAITING FOR THE CLOUDS, European winner of Sundance/NHK Hilmmakers Award 2003 and Iranian director Mambozia Partovi’s BORDER CAFE.

Established as the first independent film production company in Slovenia and among the first in the former Yugoslavia in 1986,VERTIGO FILM is the most successful film production company in Slovenia. To date, they have produced (or co-produced) 15 fiction features, 3 documentaries and more than 20 shorts.
Their credits include: SPARE PARTS (2003) by Damjan Kozole, screened in the Berlinale 2003 Competition, BREAD AND MILK (2001) by Jan Cvitkovic, awarded with the Lion of the Future – Venice Film Festival 2001, PORNO FILM (2000) by Damjan Kozole, LONERS (2000) by David Ondricek (Czeck Rep./Slovenia), and IDLE RUNNING (1999) by Janex Burger.
Danijel Hocevar, Managing Director and Producer of VERTIGO FILM, was selected among VARIETY’s ten producers to watch in 2001.

Climax Films is a Belgian production company set up in July 2004 by producer Olivier Rausin after 15 years’ experience in the film business and film production, notably at Artemis Productions for the past decade.
